One-Day Bus Trip! On Sunday, September 14th head to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty where you will ride a ferry and have access to the Immigration Museum. The bus pickup will be at 6:30am from the Carlisle Point Mall (800 East High Street, off exit 48) in Carlisle, PA where you can park in the mall lot across from Pizza Hut. You will return to that location at 10:30pm. The cost is $128.00 (13 and up) per rider and $117.00 (12 and under) per rider.

What to expect --
A quick stop on the trip for fast food before arrive in Jersey City, NJ at Liberty State Park to begin looking at the country's heritage and history. You'll board a ferry with the first stop at Ellis Island Immigration Museum for a self-guided tour. Lunch is on your own and you may choose to have a cafeteria style lunch at either Ellis Island or Liberty Island. Next, board the New Jersey Ferry once again and take a short cruise to Liberty Island -- home of the Statue of Liberty! Lady Liberty has stood for freedom for more than 125 years. While on Liberty Island, visit the museum for a self-guided experience that features three interactive galleries. Be ready to head back on the ferry by 4:30pm. A dinner stop will be made enroute to home at your own expense.

*IMPORTANT* Located at each ferry boarding station is a timed departure and arrival schedule. Your experience is self-guided at both the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and the State of Liberty; therefore, you will want to familiarize yourself with the ferry times so that you can play your stay at each location accordingly. Be sure to board the New Jersey Ferry no later than 4:30pm to head back to Liberty State Park to depart for home.
